Founded in 2018 by a family who has been involved in the trenchless industry since the introduction of trenchless technology in South Africa back in the 90s. Group 33 Engineering may be young but our expertise in the trenchless industry is vast.

 

Ever since opening our doors back in 2018, we’ve been committed to our client's unique project needs and achieving their utmost satisfaction with our work. We use a comprehensive approach in order to provide a wide range of services for the projects we’re involved with.

Group 33 Engineering (PTY) Ltd is a leading engineering and specialized trenchless pipeline company, we offer our services within the country of South Africa as well as the surrounding territories.

 

The core of our business is in the trenchless field, we specialize in Horizontal Directional Drilling

commonly referred to as HDD, Pipe Cracking also referred to as Pipe Bursting, Pipe Reaming, Sliplinning, HDPE Butt-Welding, and Electrofusion Welding. We also partner with experts in the Pipe Jacking field to ensure we can offer our clients a full range of specialized trenchless solutions to suit their individual project requirements.

 

We also offer services in the engineering field where we manufacture specialized trenchless tooling, which includes all tooling for Pipe Cracking to HDD as well as specialized internal HDPE bead removal tools known as bead cutters. We further offer maintenance and repairs on equipment used within the construction field with a specific focus on equipment for the trenchless industry.

 

As we have an in-house workshop we are able to engineer and manufacture our own specialized trenchless tooling which reduces breakdown times and costs altogether.
